Plans for a new secondary school in Clackmannanshire have been given initial backing by councillors. The proposals would also include a new housing development on former industrial land in Alva.
Moves to develop the land were given outline planning permission at a council meeting on Thursday.
More detailed plans for the proposal will be brought forward to Clackmannanshire Council at a later date.
