A man has been arrested by Strathclyde Police in connection with alleged threats made against a biscuit factory in Glasgow. The 48-year-old is in custody and a report will be submitted to the procurator fiscal.
An investigation was launched into a threat made by letter to contaminate biscuits at United Biscuits in the Tollcross area of the city.
The United Biscuits plant employs about 750 staff and makes McVitie's biscuits.
