Leggatt absconded from Greenock Prison in March
A 42-year-old man who absconded from a prison in Scotland has been arrested in Anglesey, north Wales.

Strathclyde Police confirmed the man, who failed to return to HMP Gateside Greenock after a community placement in March, was Malcolm Leggatt.

North Wales Police launched an operation in the Llanfaes area of Beaumaris on Wednesday night.

Supt Mark Jones said no-one was injured in the operation and Leggatt would shortly be transferred to Strathclyde.

Leggatt, who is from Glasgow's east end, failed to return to jail after his work placement on 21 March.
