Second airlift for heart baby
Birmingham Children's Hospital
The child was flown to Birmingham Children's Hospital
A newborn baby who developed suspected heart problems has been flown to a second specialist unit.

The two-day-old girl was flown from Raigmore Hospital in Inverness to Glasgow's Yorkhill Sick Children's Hospital on Christmas evening.

On Saturday, she was flown to Birmingham Children's Hospital for further tests.

A spokesman for the hospital said the girl's parents had also travelled to the Birmingham unit.

However, he said the girl's family had asked that no details of her condition be released.

The youngster has not been named.
