The list of changes
This is the full list of proposed alterations to Glasgow's primary education service:

A new school in Drumchapel will replace Drumry Primary and Lochgoin Primary, both of which will close.

A new school will also be built in Castlemilk for pupils at St Margaret Mary's, St Martin's Primary and St Dominic's Primary. The new building will be constructed either on the current site of St Dominic's or St Martin's.

St Julie's Primary and St Bartholomew's Primary, both in Castlemilk, will be amalgamated with combined pupils attending St Julie's from 2004 until a new school is built on the site of St Bartholomew's.

Braeside Primary, also in Castlemilk, will close with parents being offered the choice of several alternative schools for their children.

In the east end, Springfield Primary, Barrowfield Primary and London Road Primary will close. Pupils will be amalgamated with those at Dalmarnock Primary until a new building for all pupils is built.

In Greater Easterhouse, Garthamlock Primary and Ruchazie Primary will close with pupils moving to a new combined school. Pupils at St Philip's Primary and St Rose of Lima Primary will join together in a new school building.

Milncroft and Lamlash Primaries in Cranhill will close with pupils attending a new built combined school.

St Elizabeth Seton Primary and St Modan's Primary in Cranhill will also be closed and amalgamated on a new site.

In Robroyston, Littlehill Primary and Knockburn Primary will be closed and amalgamated on a new site.

And in Pollock, Bonnyholm Primary, Leithland Primary and McGill Primary will close and join together on a new joint site.
