Rugby teams on song for World Cup
Scotland captain Bryan Redpath
The Scotland squad will go into the recording studio
Scotland and England are gearing up for this autumn's rugby World Cup with the recording of their official team anthems.

UB40 have recorded a version of Swing Low, while members of the Scotland squad are due in the studio later this week.

Scotland will join forces with former Runrig singer Donnie Munro to add their voices to his own composition, Down Under.

The World Cup takes place in Australia from 10 October to 22 November.

The Scotland anthem will make its debut at the World Cup countdown test against Italy on 23 August.

The Swing Low tune will be released early in October ahead of England's game against South Africa in Perth.

Scotland's Grand Slam winning side made a recording of Flower of Scotland in 1990 for charity, but this is the first occasion the current squad has ventured into the recording studio.
