Comic Billy Connolly's car was broken into as he went to watch a football match, police confirmed on Friday. Luggage was stolen from the star's Land Rover when the vehicle's window was smashed in Glasgow.
Police later recovered the 60-year-old funnyman's property after it was snatched from the vehicle in the city's Merchant City area.
A member of the public found it dumped in bushes near to the scene of the theft in Albion Street and alerted police.
The incident occurred on Wednesday - hours before the Big Yin was due to watch Celtic's Champions League qualifier.

The Hoops fan was due to present a cheque in front of 40,000 fans at Parkhead in his side's clash against Kaunas.
Connolly reported the incident to police and was still able to make Celtic Park to see Martin O'Neill's men beat the Lithuanian club 1-0.
He presented a cheque for �5,000 to Kaunas officials in memory of star player Audrius Slekys, who died in a car crash.
After the game he made his way to Glasgow's London Road police station to recover the luggage, which contained clothes and other items.
A spokeswoman for Strathclyde Police said: "We can confirm that property was stolen from a car in Albion Street on Wednesday, August 6, 2003.
"The property was handed in to our London Road police office and returned to the owner."
