A murder inquiry has been launched in Glasgow following the death of a teenage boy. Police said 17-year-old Thomas Loughery was attacked in the early hours of Sunday.
The teenager, from the Pollokshaws area of the city, was found injured in Shawbridge Street near to Netherauldhouse Road at about 0130 BST.
He was taken by ambulance to the Victoria Infirmary but died from his injuries.
Following a post mortem examination, his death was being treated as murder, said a Strathclyde Police spokesman.
Police were making door-to-door inquiries in the area and an incident Room has been set up at Aikenhead Road.
