The number of people out of work has fallen both in Scotland and in the UK as a whole. The government's preferred measure of unemployment shows a fall of 3,000 north of the border, in the three months to February.
Under the International Labour Organisation (ILO) figures unemployment in Scotland now stands at 155,000.
The figure is broadly in line with the UK picture, where the number of people out of work is now below 1.5m.
The unemployment rate measured by the ILO standard stands at 6.2% in Scotland.
According to the Labour Force Survey (LFS), the seasonally unadjusted number of people in Scotland in work between December last year and February was 2,387,000 - an increase of 53,000 on the same period a year ago.
