 | | Monday, 22 April, 2002, 18:22 GMT 19:22 UK Man jailed for 'record' drink driving  Mr Campbell was sentenced at Elgin Sheriff Court A man who smashed Scotland's drink driving records has been banned from driving for 10 years and jailed for four months. Robert Campbell, 53, of Hazel Court, Elgin, admitted two sets of offences, one in Lossiemouth last month and the second while on his way to appear in court following the original incident. The painter and decorator was accused of driving while more than five times over the limit in Lossiemouth, Moray, on 15 March. He was also charged with driving with 210mg of alcohol in 100ml of breath while on his way to court. The legal limit is 35mg.
A condition of Campbell's bail was that he attend his local police station to be breathalysed three times a day. Sheriff Ian Cameron, sentencing, said: "There's no alternative but that you will go to prison on each of these." Campbell was also fined a total of �1,400, banned for 10 years and ordered to re-sit his test.
