Seven people are aiming to become the next Mayor of Doncaster. Nominations for candidates have now closed for the election taking place on the same day as the general election, with the result announced on 6 May.
Labour candidate Martin Winter will once again seek election to the post he won in 2002.
He will be challenged by candidates from the Conservatives, Green Party, Community Group, British National Party (BNP) and two independents.

The Liberal Democrats are not putting forward a candidate for the election.
Sprotbrough councillor Ray Bartlett is standing as the Conservative Party's mayoral candidate.
Other councillors standing are Jessie Credland (Community Group), who represents Hatfield and Michael Maye (Independent) - the councillor for Edenthorpe, Kirk Sandall and Barnby Dun.
Both candidates also took part in the Doncaster mayoral elections in 2002.
Firefighter Richard Rolt is the Green Party candidate, former council manager Michael Cooper is another independent and the BNP is represented by David Owen.
In 2002, Mr Winter took just over 40% of the vote, though less than 30% of the electorate took part in the poll.
Doncaster is one of four authorities electing a mayor on 5 May.
Stoke-on-Trent, North Tyneside and Hartlepool - which saw the town's football club mascot elected in 2002 - are also holding polls.
