As the Lib Dems continue negotiations with the Tory party over a possible power-sharing deal, their energy spokesman Simon Hughes has said that getting their policies recognised is a priority.

Speaking to the BBC's Breakfast programme, Mr Hughes said the focus was on "fairness" rather than gaining cabinet seats.
