There was no clear winner in the prime-ministerial debates, though Gordon Brown came off worst, SNP leader Alex Salmond has said.

The Scottish Nationalist Party failed in its legal action to try to block the broadcast in Scotland unless it featured Mr Salmond.

All three party leaders failed to disclose the true extent to public spending cuts, Mr Salmon said.
