Gordon Brown: 'No financial restraint on Iraq war'

Gordon Brown has told the Iraq Inquiry that the Treasury did not in any way interfere with the military planning for the Iraq war.

Mr Brown, who was chancellor at the time of the war, is giving evidence weeks ahead of the UK general election, which is expected to be held in early May.
