Expenses charges decision awaited

Prosecutors are due to reveal whether they intend to bring criminal charges against six MPs and peers over their expenses claims.

The decision by the Crown Prosecution Service comes after more than 300 MPs were told to pay back a total of more than £1m they claimed since 2004.

The official audit described the system of claiming as "deeply flawed".
