Iraq Inquiry told war's legitimacy 'questionable'

The former UK ambassador to the UN has said he believes the Iraq war was of "questionable legitimacy" even if it can never be proved illegal.

Speaking to the Iraq Inquiry, Sir Jeremy Greenstock said the conflict did not have the legitimacy granted by the "backing of a great majority of member states", or "even perhaps of a majority of people".
