Brown joins by-election campaign

Prime Minister Gordon Brown has been on the campaign trail ahead of the Glasgow North East by-election, next week.

Its a traditional Labour stronghold - and a seat the party is determined to retain ahead of the general election.

It was vacated by former Commons Speaker Michael Martin, who resigned amid the Westminster expenses row.
