Tories 'are real progressives'

Shadow chancellor George Osborne has claimed that the Conservative Party is now the most powerful force for change in the country.

Addressing the think-tank Demos, Mr Osborne said: "The torch of progressive politics has been passed to a new generation of politicians - and those politicians are Conservatives."
