Jack Straw has defended Gordon Brown's decision to hold a private inquiry into the decision to go to war in Iraq.
Speaking on the Andrew Marr Show, Mr Straw said he believed the final parameters of the inquiry, as established by its chair, Sir John Chilcot, would be "mixed".
He also said he would be prepared to give "most" of his evidence in public.
