Blears survives confidence motion

Hazel Blears has survived an attempt to force her de-selection at a meeting of her constituency Labour party in Salford.

Ms Blears told the BBC she was "very, very grateful" to party members, and her priority now was to be "a bread and butter champion" for people in her constituency.
