Clegg: 'let the people sack MPs'

Liberal Democrat leader Nick Clegg has called for constituents to be given powers to sack their MPs if they are found to have done something wrong.

Mr Clegg said that if the independent Commissioner for Standards found an MP guilty of doing something wrong, constituents should be able to call a by-election.
