Opposition leader David Cameron and Prime Minister Gordon Brown have clashed over the investigation into the death of a baby who died after months of abuse.

Mr Cameron argued that it was not appropriate that the local review into Baby P's case was being undertaken by the council's own children's services director.

But Mr Brown provoked uproar from the opposition benches when he accused Mr Cameron of trying to exploit the case for party political reasons.
