Brown guarded on tax cuts

Gordon Brown has refused to be drawn on the question of tax cuts, saying that the financial crisis can only be solved with 'global solutions'.

He was speaking at his monthly press conference following an announcement by the Conservatives that they would cut business taxes to kickstart the economy.
