Peers debate military equipment

During Lords questions, peers discussed comments made by Defence Minister Quentin Davies, who appeared to blame the choice of equipment made by commanders for the deaths of three SAS soldiers in Afghanistan.

One peer said commanding officers were having their authority and stature diluted by politicians.
