'No panic' from Nottingham council

Nottingham City Council has invested �42m in failed Icelandic banks, making it one of the top local authority investors in the UK.

Deputy Leader of the Council, Councillor Graham Chapman, said there was ''no panic'' over the financial uncertainty.

He was also asked if it would spell a Council Tax rise for local people.
