Senior Labour figures have thrown their support behind Gordon Brown amid speculation of a leadership challenge.
John Prescott warned MP's to campaign for a "'fourth term rather than a fourth leader", while Jack Straw said Mr Brown was the 'best man' to lead the country through 'tough times'.
