It's been great. This is an opportunity to promote friendship between the two countries. It's also been a good opportunity for us students to have a cultural exchange with the visitors at our university. The visit has great significance for our country in this special Olympic year.

XU YILEI, 18, LAW

Xu Yilei

I think this trip is very important for China, people of the two countries and for development because China and Britain are traditionally friends. It's also important that the two countries give each other support and co-operate in economic, cultural and political fields. For the future development of the two countries, this is very important.

RAO CAO, 22, ANCIENT CHINA

Rao Cao

It was really good listening to Mr Brown speak. He said he has high expectations for the Olympics in Beijing this year.

It's very important that leaders of the two countries communicate, especially ahead of the Beijing Olympics.

ZHONG AIQI, 18, ECONOMICS

Zhong Aiqi

I recorded what Mr Brown had to say as a memento. I think he has always treated us Chinese people very well. He said a great deal. His every sentence, every word has made an impression on my heart. It will be hard to forget what he said. I will remember it for the rest of my life. I was very, very excited.

HUANG ZIJIAN, 19, ECONOMICS

Huang Zijian

I am very pleased to see Premier Wen Jiabao and Prime Minister Brown come to our university. I hope that China and Britain can have a long-lasting friendship. I hope people of the two countries can talk to each other in order to develop better.
