Ministers unveiled proposals in July to give Lottery players a greater say in how good cause funds are used.

One company will no longer have a monopoly, various firms will get the chance to run different games and there would be a National Lottery Day.

The Commons culture committee is holding an inquiry into the changes, especially examining whether the plans will net more cash for good causes.
