The group were on a visit to confirm the identity and nationality of two British inmates transferred to the Cuban base in May.
The officials checked on the welfare of all seven British detainees and asked questions relevant to national security during the four day trip between 27 and 31 May. Medical treatment They also inspected Camp Delta, the recently built indoor accommodation, which includes individual sleeping, toilet and washing facilities, plus air-conditioning. The trip, the third paid to Guantanamo Bay by British officials, was detailed in a Commons written answer.
