Man, 37, guilty of city car rape

The man was found guilty at Londonderry Crown Court

A Londonderry man has been found guilty of raping a 15-year-old schoolgirl nine years ago.

Keith John Burnside, 37, from Rosemount Gardens, was released on bail until sentencing at a later date.

He was automatically required to sign the sex offender register, by Londonderry Crown Court.

The court heard that he attacked his victim in his car after offering her a lift home in February 2000.
