Bus service back after attacks
Stone-throwing youths attack bus
Attack victims were treated for flying glass injuries
A secondary school principal has welcomed the re-instatement of a bus service for the pupils of a north Belfast school.

Translink had banned the pupils of the Boys' Model school from travelling on its Shankill Road service after a series of violent incidents.

The ban followed repeated clashes with pupils from St Gabriel's intermediate school on the Crumlin Road.

On Tuesday, nine students from the nearby Our Lady of Mercy secondary school were injured when their bus was stoned.

The girls were treated for wounds caused by flying glass after their bus was attacked at the junction of the Ballysillan and Crumlin Roads.

The principals of the Boys' Model school and St Gabriel's attended a meeting on Thursday to discuss the incidents.
