Frozen pitches hit weekend sport

Football
A number of pitch inspections are being held

Frozen pitches have been effecting Saturday's Northern Ireland sporting fixtures.

Several Irish League football matches have been called off, including Linfield against Crusaders at Windsor Park.

In Gaelic football the Ulster Bank inter-county final between Monaghan and Donegal at Drumquin has also been postponed.

There have also been some cancellations of School's Cup rugby matches.

Pitch inspections have been taking place at a number of locations.
