Snow-hit airport runway reopened

Dublin Airport

Dublin Airport has reopened its runway after it was closed for a time on Monday so that snow could be cleared from it.

Dozens of Aer Lingus and Ryanair flights had to be cancelled and some inbound flights were diverted.

Delays are still being experienced at the airport.

Airlines are advising prospective passengers to check if their flights have been cancelled before travelling.
