More than 1,000 illegal fireworks have been seized by detectives in County Tyrone. The police said 1,000 bangers, 125 rockets and two boxes of fireworks were found during the search of a house at Evish Grove, Strabane, on Saturday.
It came a day after police seized fireworks worth �13,000 from a business on the Scraghey Road.
No-one was arrested. The police said they would continue to target the illegal sale and use of fireworks.
