Traders blamed for teen drinkers
Teenage drinking
Tidy Northern Ireland said shopkeepers were to blame
Shopkeepers who sell alcohol to underage youths should be completely banned from holding an alcohol licence, a litter campaign group has urged.

Tidy NI say broken bottles left by teenagers in parks are putting young children at risk of serious injury.

Spokesman Ian Cole blamed "the adults who provided teenagers with alcohol in glass bottles in the first place".

He said nearly 34,000 injuries in the UK each year were caused by broken glass in leisure locations.

"Tanked-up teens will drink anywhere secluded, leaving their litter when they're done - and creating a mess for others to endure," he added.
