 The UDA met the IICD in Belfast |
The Ulster Defence Association has held a meeting in Belfast with the Independent International Commission on Decommissioning (IICD). The delegation included leading north Belfast UDA member Andre Shoukri.
A spokesman for the decommissioning body, headed by General John de Chastelain, said the talks were part of the continuing engagement with the UDA.
Loyalist sources said there was no suggestion of imminent decommissioning on the part of the UDA.
