Firms warned of internet fraud
Businesses in Northern Ireland are being warned about a scam in which they are asked to pay to register the domain name of their firm.

The PSNI's fraud unit has said it has received a number of inquiries from business people in the province.

The firms have been "cold called" by someone claiming to be from Companies House in Swansea.

The caller asks for 25 in return for registering the name.

The police say although this is not illegal, businesses should ignore the call and report the matter to trading standards officers.
