Electricity worker killed

An investigation is under way after an electricity worker was killed in County Down.

The accident happened while work was being carried out on power lines at Mill Road near Annalong on Wednesday.

Northern Ireland Electricity Chief Operating Officer Billy Graham said everyone in the company was "deeply saddened".

He said NIE would be working with the Health and Safety Executive and PSNI in the investigation.
