School fires 'arson' say police
Firefighters were called to the fire in the temporary building
Two fires at schools in Belfast and County Down are being treated as arson.

A temporary building belonging to a building contractor was damaged in the grounds of De La Salle High School on Struell Road in Downpatrick.

It was discovered shortly before 1700 GMT on Saturday and firefighters were called to the scene.

Minor damage was also caused to the Good Shepherd school in the Poleglass area of west Belfast.

Firefighters were called to the school later on Saturday and quickly brought the fire under control.

Police have launched an investigation into both incidents and forensic tests are being carried out.

They have appealed to the public for information on the arson attacks.
