Houses damaged in pipe bomb attack

Pipe bombs have been used in recent attacks
Two houses have been damaged in an overnight pipe bomb attack in Cookstown, County Tyrone.

A device exploded in the rear garden of a house at Millburn Park just before 0200 BST on Sunday.

It broke the kitchen window and the window of an adjoining house.

No-one was injured during the attack.

Meanwhile, a couple have escaped injury following a petrol bomb attack on their home in Ballymena, County Antrim.

It happened just after midnight on Saturday in the Lantarragh area of the Ballee estate.
