NI climber in 'rapid response' rescue
Glenariff Forest Park
The woman fell in a remote part of the park
A climber has been rescued from a remote part of a Northern Ireland beauty spot following an accident.

The woman sustained a broken leg in the accident in Glenariff Forest Park in County Antrim on Tuesday.

Lieutenant Colonel Chris Manning, the deputy commander of the Joint Helicopter Force, said a Sea King helicopter was at the scene within minutes of receiving the call.

"We actually happened to have an aircraft in the area which was able to get to the casualty within 10 minutes," he said.

"It was a remarkable rapid response time in this particular situation."
