Police in County Armagh have seized counterfeit clothing worth almost 200,000.

They were found during a search of premises at Bleary in Craigavon and at Dollingstown near Lurgan on Friday.

The clothes, with a street value of 180,000, included articles bearing Nike, Gap and Diesel labels.

A police spokesman said specialist CID officers and representatives from the manufacturers concerned will work together to identify the items.

"This is certainly one of the biggest seizures we have ever had," he said.

The spokesman said no arrests had been made.

Meanwhile, on Sunday police seized 12,000 worth of goods during a search of Nutts Corner market, near Crumlin in County Antrim.

The goods seized included CDs, computer games, videos and tobacco.
