Two men are being questioned by police in connection with a fatal hit and run incident in west Belfast.

Debbie McComb, 16, from Glenalina Park, Ballymurphy, died after being hit by a stolen car on the Springfield Road on Friday.

Another girl was slightly injured in the incident near the junction with the Whiterock Road.

A 19-year-old man and a 20-year-old man are being questioned about a stolen car found shortly after the collision.

West Belfast MP Gerry Adams of Sinn Fein expressed his shock at the girl's death.

Hundreds of people attended a vigil on Monday night in west Belfast for the teenager.
