Police investigating the murder of the Antrim teenager Ciaran Cummings in July have arrested three people.

Mr Cummings, 19, was shot dead at the Greystone roundabout in Antrim on 4 July.

The Catholic man was killed as he waited for a lift to work.

Searches were carried out in the Shore Road in Belfast, Antrim and Ballymena on Thursday.

Officers seized a motorcycle and other items.

Following his killing, police said their main line of inquiry was that he was shot by loyalist paramilitaries.

The so-called Red Hand Defenders, which has been used as a cover name by other loyalist groups including the UFF and LVF, said it carried out the murder.
