The snow is going to cause even more potholes in the roads, warn council and engineers. These pictures from Dawn Redwood of potholes in Clayhidon, Devon, show just how deep and wide they can get when they're not repaired. Bulcote Street in Nottingham needs some urgent and tender care judging by these pictures sent in by Richard Cartledge. Keith Ruffles got a flat tyre from this pothole in the Kirkstall area of Leeds. The same thing happened to Phil George on Christmas Eve after he drove over this pothole in Rignall Road, Great Missenden, Buckinghamshire. This pothole in Harlow, Essex, is to blame for the damage to this wheel, says the car's owner Andrew Hearley. Issy Langsford, a town councillor in Corsham, Wiltshire, gives some indication of the scale of the pothole in this picture, sent in by Duncan Hames. Some potholes do get repaired, like this one in Camberwell Road, south London. But Victor, who sent the photo, says a bus ride down the street is still bumpy.
