Store creates huge job interest

Morrisons Supermarket in Westbury
A second day of recruitment is taking place

A recruitment drive for 60 new jobs at a supermarket in Wiltshire attracted more than 200 applications in less than five hours.

The posts are for the new Morrisons supermarket which is due to open in Westbury later in the year.

The store replaces Coopers which closed last month after 23 years of trading.

The town has been left without a supermarket in the meantime and the post office was also lost as it was integrated as part of Coopers.
