Duchess visits her new battalion
Camilla, the Duchess of Cornwall, has made her first visit as Royal Colonel to the 4th Battalion The Rifles at their base in Bulford, Wiltshire.

Her Royal Highness met some of the 650 soldiers and their families ahead of the battalion's deployment to Iraq.

During her visit, she was shown some of their training equipment and watched a training exercise in action.

The Duchess became Royal Colonel of the battalion, which was formed from the Royal Green Jackets, on 1 February.
