 A fly past was held on Friday |
A Hercules plane from RAF Lyneham has performed a fly past at the funeral of one of the 10 men killed in a crash in Iraq in January. Corporal David Williams died aged 37 when a C130 plane, based in Wiltshire, crashed north of Baghdad.
On Friday, the Hercules flew at a low level over Chippenham as the funeral was taking place.
The funeral of another of the crash victims, Master Aircrewman Gary Nicholson, was also taking place.
His funeral was held at St Andrew's Church in Wanborough.
Corporal Williams leaves a wife and three sons.
He had served in the Falklands, Sierra Leone and Afghanistan.
