Project tackles domestic violence
A new programme is to be launched in Wiltshire as part of a drive to tackle domestic violence.

The scheme, which can be delivered as part of community rehabilitation orders, encourages men to think about the impact of their behaviour.

It consists of an assessment interview, followed by a 30-week group work programme. The course also shows men ways for avoiding violence.

The project is funded by the South Wiltshire Domestic Violence Forum.

The programme, which will be based in Salisbury, will be launched at the end of January.
