Mobile phone mast plan scrapped
Plans to erect a mobile phone mast in the grounds of Warminster Cricket Club have been scrapped.

Phone company Hutchinson 3G withdrew their application to erect the mast following opposition from local residents.

Cllr Les Rose organised a protest outside the club on Monday when they were told the plan had been scrapped.

"We have no argument with the cricket club or its members, we just didn't want the mast that close to schools."
